Theatre South Playhouse in Dr. Phillips is now accepting video submissions for our next main stage production of "Spring Awakening". Seeking a diverse cast of young adult actors of all ages that can portray both teenagers and adults, we will need two actors of any age that can portray all the adult roles.

*We are only seeing actors age 16 and up for this production.

**We are only seeking non-union actors at this time.

 

Video Submissions are due on *Friday January 3rd at 6pm*.
All actors are asked to submit a brief intro and let the team know what it is about "Spring Awakening" that drew you to audition? Please sing a 32 bar cut of a pop song in the style of the show. Please use tracks or piano. No acapella singing or auditions using auto-tune apps will be viewed. All auditions MUST include a monologue under one minute. Show us who you are and what you are about!

 

**Seeking actor/singers with strong dance skills for this production.
 

Callbacks will be held on *Sunday, January 19th*. A Mandatory dance call will be held at 12:30pm for all actors portraying the teen roles. Seeking dancers or extremely great movers for this dance heavy production. Callbacks for music and sides will follow after the dance call.

All actors will be paid a show stipend staring at $250. In addition, we do have a "tip your actors" drive going on during performances that will be divided amongst the actors equally.

Rehearsal and Performance Dates:
*We have three week-long breaks during the process for spring break and other TSP productions.
